My Top 5 Vegan Breakfast Ideas

Breakfast if one of the most important meals of the day, it helps you kick start your day and get all the things done. When it comes to breakfast for vegans things can be quite complicated, since most of the breakfast ideas revolve around diet that is high in protein and vitamins, like dairy products, eggs, chicken, etc.

Being a vegan means you have to skip all the options that include eggs, dairy, and any kind of animal products. He is a list of my top 5 vegan breakfast ideas that will help you energize your body with the right amount of carbohydrates, protein, and fats.

Peanut Butter, Banana and Brown Bread

This is a nutritious breakfast that can give you the much-required boost to your breakfast.

All you require is some peanut butter, some bananas, and some bread slices. This breakfast contains everything that you require to kickstart your day, you will be getting a good amount of protein, good fat and carbohydrates.

Pan cakes

Pancakes are the most versatile and easy to make a dish that you can prepare for yourself. Pancakes are also known as a staple breakfast for most of the American households.

Here is all you need to prepare pancakes that are dairy and egg free, here is the list of ingredient you need.

  • Cup of organic flour
  • 1 tbsp cane sugar
  • 2 tbsf baking powder
  • Cup of soy milk
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 2 tbsp coconut milk
  • Salt

Combine your flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a bowl. Now take a big glass to add Soy milk and vinegar and whisk well. Now mix both the mixture well to prepare the batter, and keep mixing it until there are no clumps remaining. Your batter is ready to be cooked on a pan.

Vegan Burrito

Burritos are my personal favorite when I am required to carry my food.

Place a medium sized skillet over medium heat and add your oil. Once heated add your onions & season with s&p. Cook until cooked down & starting to lightly brown (about 4-5 minutes). Add your garlic & cook (stirring constantly) for another minute.

Add in your tofu (crumble it with your hands, see picture). Add in turmeric, cumin and another pinch of sea salt & pepper. Stir until fully combined. Remove from heat.

To assemble your burritos line up all your ingredients (leaving room on all sides, see photo) & roll up! Enjoy!
