Shane Vereen is the only Patriots RB that I ranked because that situation is very unclear in New England, I would not feel confident starting Branden Bolden or James White on a short week against a tough Jets Defense.  The Jets have given up two consecutive 100+ yard games to smaller RB’s and they can be thrown on so I think this game favors Vereen getting the majority of the work.  That said, I don’t feel great about it since Bill Belichick seems to always do the exact opposite of conventional wisdom.

I still see Eddie Lacy as a #1 RB in fantasy despite the workload concerns after last week vs. Miami.  I think that Carolina has shown that they can be run on this year and I see the Packers getting their workhorse RB back on track this week.

Despite a tough matchup against Detroit and several RB options in New Orleans, I still see Mark Ingram as the RB to lead the Saints in carries/fantasy points this week.  Khiry Robinson was adequate filling in but I don’t think he did enough to take the job away from Ingram going forward.  I still ranked Ingram outside the top 24 so avoid this situation if you can.
