nfl, power rankings

Week 6 was an exciting week as a few division games brought us what we expected. The unexpected. The talent is starting to show and produce for certain team while the less talented teams are still trying to gain their first win. Let’s take a look into Truluvsports NFL Week 6 Power Rankings.

32. Jacksonville Jaguars (0-6): Close but no cigar as they went hard at Tennessee and almost pulled out their first victory. One day Jags. One day. Last week#31

31. Oakland Raiders (0-5): Their most competitive game of the season against a top 3 team in the league and they went blow for blow. Too bad this is Oakland and the last blow was a knockout punch. Last week#32

30. New York Jets (1-5): Looking at their schedule did you really expect anything different? Last week#30

29. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-5): Is there a way for the Bucs to request the Steelers every week? Didn’t think so. Sorry guys. Last week#28

28. Washington Redskins (1-5): Does anybody remember that QB who use to play for the Redskins? Yes Cousins. Have you seen him lately? His team is looking for him. Last week#27

27. St. Louis Rams (1-4): Any minute now these Rams are going to prove their worth. Too bad it might be in L.A. Last week#26

26. Atlanta Falcons (2-4): Once again damn you Hard Knocks for making me a believer. Maybe the team should go back and watch a few episodes. Last week#25

25. Minnesota Vikings (2-4): Maybe Peterson knew and leaked the stories himself so he wouldn’t have to deal with the on-field nonsense. Last week#24

24. Tennessee Titans (2-4): Maybe the crew of the First 48 can figure out how the Titans managed to win 2 games so far because I’m stumped. Last week#29

23. Miami Dolphins (2-3): I still have faith in the Dolphins. They played a tough Packers team but still fell for the banana in the tail pipe. Last week#22

22. New Orleans Saints (2-3): The Saints are the most dangerous under .500 team in the league. Wait. Is that really something to celebrate? Last week#23

21. Kansas City Chiefs (2-3): The Chiefs are not done yet. A run can still be made but time is running out and one more loss will officially label last season as a fluke. Last week#21

20. Buffalo Bills (3-3): The Bills could be on the verge of letting their season slip away. But at the same time why should we be surprised. Haven’t we seen this before? Last week#17

19. New York Giants (3-3): Yes they got destroyed Sunday but it was a division game and who didn’t see the Eagles putting the smack down on the Giants. Let’s be serious. Last week#18

18. Pittsburgh Steelers (3-3): Up and down, Up and down. This is a veteran team and they must be ashamed of themselves. Just take a week off. Can they get an extra bye week? Last week#16

17. Houston Texans (3-3): Tough game against the Colts. Foster looks to be back and there was a Johnson sighting as well but still fell short. Last week#14

16. Chicago Bears (3-3): You never know which Bears team is going to show up from week to week. Cutler is thankful the Falcons let him quiet his critics at least for a week. Last week#19

15. Cleveland Browns (3-2): Be truthful and tell me you saw the Browns sitting with a winning record going into week 7. Your lying..lol.. Truth be told this team is coming together at the right time. Last week#20

14. Carolina Panthers (3-2-1): What a waste of a great offensive performance by Cam Newton. Games like this should not end with a tie. Shame on the NFL. Last week#15

13. Cincinnati Bengals (3-1-1): I don’t know what happened to them in the last two weeks. First few weeks in they were invincible now they look average. Last week#6

12. Detroit Lions (4-2): The offense is no longer the main focal point of this team. Their defense finally has some kick-ass going for them. Last week#12

11. Seattle Seahawks (3-2): You can’t really knock the Champs for their loss against the Cowboys. What you have to knock is they seem to have lost their swag after their first defeat against the Chargers. No one seems nervous anymore. Last week#1

10. Green Bay Packers (4-2): Was that Rodgers out there showing his inner Brett Farve with that fake spike? Somewhere Farve is saying “Bout time you decide to mimic me”. Last week#10

9. San Francisco 49ers (4-2): The Rams made Kaepernick look like Steve Young Monday night. The scary part is their defense will only get better with the return of Smith and Bowman in a few weeks. Last week#9

8. Baltimore Ravens (4-2): What was that in the first half? I know the Bucs are bad but at least put up a fight. This is the NFL not Pop Warner. Last week#11

7. New England Patriots (4-2): Is it me or was the whole Brady and the coaching staff thing a hoax? Last week#13

6. Indianapolis Colts (4-2): I wonder if anyone in Indy misses or even remembers the name Manning. Luck is playing above MVP level right now. Last week#8

5. Arizona Cardinals (4-1): Every week I keep waiting for them to screw up and show that this season and last was a fluke. These guys are the real deal. By the way Palmer is back. Last week#7

4. Dallas Cowboys (5-1): The Boys are back. It feels like Smith, Aikmen and Irving are suiting up every week for them. Watch out. Last week#5

3. Philadelphia Eagles (5-1): It was a toss-up between them and Dallas. The race is that close and Dallas is gaining. The Eagles finally put together a dominate performance and proved how they would look if all sides click. Last week#4

2. San Diego Chargers (5-1): It was a scare against a division opponent. Good teams have those during Super Bowl seasons. Last week#3

1. Denver Broncos (4-1): Did they just discover a running game to go along with their unfair advantage of a passing attack? Last week#2
