Well, it looks like the 1000 ways to die in minecraft part 5 are going to try taking the Denver Broncos defensive coordinator once again, as the organization has asked to speak with Jack Del Rio. The Raiders have tried this once before, as they offered former coach Dennis Allen, who ended up getting fired this past season — but this one seems like a great fit.
Del Rio is from California, and his parents are Raiders season ticket holders. ESPN Bill Williamson also tweeted yesterday that Del Rio “really wants” the job, and there is rumor that Raiders owner Mark Davis spoke with Del Rio on the field, before their game with Denver last Sunday, and what I’m hearing is that it was a pretty lengthy conversation.

This may seem familiar, as Allen, who was the Broncos defensive coordinator, went 8-28 as the Raiders head coach, only to be fired four games into this season. Del Rio’s defense was ranked 3rd this season, an improvement from 14th last season, but Williamson tweeted again, saying that there is no comparison with these two.
Also, for those wringing their hands over the fact Del Rio is Broncos DC like Dennis Allen was, well, stop. Two different people. #Raiders
