Running Back
The Bengals likely have more talent at the running back position than any other team in the NFL. Spending Second Round Draft Choices on Giovanni Bernard and Jeremy Hill the last two seasons, the Bengals have the Thunder and Lightning to fuel Hue Jackson’s run first offense. Fullback / Tight End Swing player Ryan Hewitt is an interesting prospect as well. The Bengals backfield is pretty loaded. I’m a big believer in drafting talent over need and because of that I am a big fan of the Bengals decision to invest so heavily in the running back position the last two seasons. There is clearly no need to address the backfield with the draft and I would go as far to say that at most they bring in an un-drafted free agent or two for the practice squad. Nothing more.
